No matter what GUCians aspire to be after they graduate, whether they are engineers, pharmacists, business people or economists they would always need to enrich themselves with management related information. Since the university knows the importance of managerial skills in any profession, it decided to provide students with various related workshops.

Mannheim Ballet at the GUC...

During the first week of January 2008, Egypt experienced one of its key cultural highlights; the Ballet of the Mannheim Theatre in Germany which performed on Bach's "Goldberg Variations" three times in one single week on January 9th, 10th and 11th at the Main Hall of the Cairo Opera House.

A “digital” beginning

Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mansour, GUC Prime Founder & Chairman of Board of Trustees and H.E. Bernd Erbel Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Egypt invited a great number of guests to attend the Inauguration Ceremony of the GUC Campus Radio & TV. A large number of VIPs, Ministers and German guests gathered at the new C-Building on GUC premises on November 20th, 2007 to attend the Digital Media Campus (DMC) Inauguration Ceremony.

My DMC experience…

After reading the “on spot” email inviting students to apply for the Digital media campus project, I thought: “Yet another project doomed to fail and fade through time”. I was reluctant and  any use out of the project, never the less I decided I had nothing to loose, and now I’m very happy to be part of the GUC radio/TV team.

PWC AUDITING SIMULATION for the 3rd time @ THE G.U.C

PricewaterhouseCoopers (or PwC) is the world's largest firm of accountants, providing services such as accounting, professional services, tax and consulting. PwC gave two rounds of auditing simulation on to the 5th semester management student at the GUC.

MR final student presentations

Four groups were able to reach semi-finals despite the tough competition rules set by Dr. Mohamed Radwan and Mrs. Noha El-Bassiouny in the Marketing Research course this semester. The presentations took place in H6 and the students were conducting full marketing research plans for prominent companies in the field, in other words, they were acting as consultants to clients in the industry.
