These trips are organized for different purposes, however, the common goal of these trips is to visit the German touristic sites and learn more about the culture and the traditions.
The types of tips are:
1. Study visits:
students enroll for specialized courses, which are studied in a period of 2 weeks to 4 weeks. Some of these courses are with credits and others are non-credit
2. Internships:
These are mainly organized in coordination with the faculties where the students do internships at major companies. These internships are prepared in cooperation with the GUC partner universities and are offered for the highly ranked students.
3. Bachelor Thesis:
A number of 46 of the GUC top ranked students wrote their Bachelor of Science Thesis in Germany; Ulm, Stuttgart, Aachen, Munich, Freiburg, Leverkusen and Mannheim during the year 2007.
4. Language courses:
These German language courses vary from two to four weeks in a number of German cities: Düsseldorf, Leipzig and Munich. They have 20 hours of German language in an international group of students.
5. Orientation:
these trips are mainly visits to partner universities: Stuttgart and Ulm and doing day-visits to different companies to understand the system, attend lectures and understand the education environment.
6. Research:
These trips are organized for the GUC Staff and aims to offer them with research opportunities to support their masters and PHD studies.
